I know how overwhelming it can feel to sort through all the noise about food and health. One day it’s “eat this,” the next it’s “avoid that” — and before long, it feels impossible to know what’s right for you. That’s where I come in.

Food is more than fuel — it’s connection, healing, and joy. With nearly 20 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, I’ll help you quiet the confusion and find a way of eating that feels doable, nourishing, and empowering. My approach isn’t about quick fixes or strict rules; it’s about small, sustainable shifts that add up to real, lasting change.

This includes a thorough assessment to understand your unique needs, preferences and challenges you are having. Together, we’ll outline a personalized nutrition plan and realistic objectives that align with your life. You can expect a supportive and collaborative approach, with a focus on behaviours that support your well-being. 

  • No, you do not need a doctor’s referral to work with a Registered Dietitian in private practice in Ontario. You can self-refer and directly schedule an appointment for nutrition counseling.

    Dietitian services are often covered through private insurance. Some providers may require a referral from a physician or nurse practitioner for reimbursement. It's a good idea to check with your insurance provider to confirm their specific requirements.

  • My approach focuses on sustainable, personalized changes that fit your lifestyle—not quick fixes or rigid plans. Together, we’ll build healthy habits that support long-term well-being, using strategies that feel realistic and empowering.

    We’ll work on nourishing your body, not restriction —making gradual adjustments that lead to lasting results. The goal is to help you develop a positive, peaceful relationship with food, grounded in self-trust and care.

  • Yes—I can absolutely help if you have a specific health condition. My area of support is in chronic disease management and gut health, offering:

    • Personalized nutrition plans to support conditions like diabetes, heart disease, digestive diseases such as Irritable bowel disease/syndrome.

    • Practical tools like meal ideas, grocery lists, and tailored recipes.

    • Education to help you understand how food impacts your health

    • Collaborative care with your healthcare team for optimal outcomes. 

  • At this time, I do not offer in person sessions. My practice is fully virtual, which means you can connect with me from anywhere.

  • I offer a free intro call so you can ask questions, share your goals, and see if we’re a good fit. This call is designed to help you feel confident moving forward.

  • Yes, prevention is key! And this starts with building habits that feel natural and not restrictive, which is one of the most powerful tools for optimal health and well-being for long term health. Eating well helps you feel energized, nourished, and protects you from chronic diseases.

  • You don’t need to be a great cook or spend hours in the kitchen to eat well. In fact, some of the most nourishing meals are also the simplest. My role is to help you find realistic strategies that fit your lifestyle—whether that means using shortcuts like frozen veggies and pre-cooked proteins, or building no-cook meals that come together in minutes.

    We’ll work together to create a plan that feels doable, not overwhelming. If cooking feels intimidating, we can start small and build your confidence over time. If you prefer to minimize the time spent meal prepping- no problem- we will come up with strategies that fit your life. You deserve to feel nourished, no matter how busy life gets
